User > user account > click the little box next to 'account' = there's 9 positions in LS.

i have a question,
is there any way to let the background of the logon strech or something, im using LogonStudio for XP, made my own Logon, but i noticed then on a different Desktop size, the Logon gets uckly
i know how to do it in de LogonStudio edit, but is there a way to do it in the Theme file??

In the theme.ini for the one above

around line 84:

pnlCenterStyle=0 (this is tiled)

pnlCenterStyle=1 (this is fixed size)

pnlCenterStyle=6 (this is stretched)

Is there a way to move the logon by just editing the theme file, without opening it in LogonStudio? Because it doesn't open right and then when I save it, it's all messed up.

you need to edit (with notepad) the UIFile
but it's not so easy
what do you need to do?

Well basically all I've done is taken an existing logon that I downloaded and changed the background, however the logon/user account window is centered in this logon, and I'd like to move it a little to the right because it is blocking the main picture behind it.

click the account window when opened in edit
then look to the right for 'account' in properties
click the box to the right of the number (I'm guessing it's at 0) - once you click the box you'll see the basic options of placement

if it's one you can't open to edit in LS due to the uifile being redone

click create - do the same as above
save each time, check the uifile

see how the 9 places are entered in the file, open the the ui of the one you want to change - find the appropriate line, make the change, save the file

you can, in addition to changing account placement, set the panel size at 30% (default is 50%) this will move the panel to the extreme edge of the screen when setting is on account 1,2,5,6,7,and 8

Sorry, just realized you said you didn't want to open the edit function!
