I personalize folder icons with misc. ones. The next day they have all changed back to the default. How can I get them to stay?
thank you

I mean I am changing them...using different icons than the default ones. Sorry it took me so long to reply. I need to check my notification settings.
Step by step> Right click on the folder>customize>change icon>browse>select icon>apply>ok

how are you changing them?

individually or all at once by loading a package then applying via IconPackager?

For instance: I will load a package then go in and tweak it...changing some of the icons and saving the package as Mine. The icons I change never seem to stay. They will revert back to the packaged ones.
Or in another example: I will change an individual icon and it may stay for a few days then revert back to the one from the package. Does any of this make sense? LOL. Thanks for your help.

what version of IconPackager?

3.2 is out (but I have seen some posts concerning issues)

I don't know for sure.

2 ways to find out,

1) go to the stardock support page and enter your email you purchased with.
2) use Stardock Central browser to see if you can update.

I was allowed to upgrade. I will take a look to see what's new. Thank you

Okay, I'm back. Even after upgrading to 3.20(86) my icons still will not stay put. I want to make my own set and have them stay but they never stay for long. After I get them all changed to how I want them I "save as" mine. Any ideas?

You need to open the package in package builder (open IconPackager, View, Package Builder) Make the changes you want in there then save as whatever you want to name it. The changes you are making by Right click on the folder>customize>change icon>browse>select icon>apply>ok, have nothing to do with IconPackager.
