Star Control 2 and DA

I just wanted to give a big thumbs up to the devs on (possibly) using some influences from this old game in the backstory. I was kind of iffy on the game when I bought it, but as I was installing, and reading the descriptions of the different species, I actually almost got a chill up my spine seeing things like "this race appeared from nowhere and is paying a strange amount of attention to the Terrans.." Not to mention the split between the bad guys that want to enslave everybody, and the bad guys that want to kill everybody.. and the slave shield over Earth.. AHHHH I love it!!

Props to you guys for being influenced by one of the best games ever!!

I noticed this.
The Drengin and the Korath are totally the Ur-Quan Kzer-Za and Kohr-Ah. Enslavers vs. genocidal maniacs.
C'mon. Korath. Kohr-Ah. Not fooling anyone, guys.

I love these similarities though.

Um, they already admitted that they were influenced by that and other previous games.
