I stumbled upon this site as I was searching for "this or that" LoL..
It's atually pretty cool, I have DL'd a couple of these desktops and I will post a SS of the current one im using...

They are completely free, animated and clean of spyware and the like..at least the 2 that I have tried have been

Just thought I would share since "customization" seems to be a big topic here, LoL..

Basically a flash interface designed to advertise video games, spikes my cpu to 20-30% Also no obvious way off killing the process, how convenient. May not be spyware but its DEFinately ADware.

Ill pass.

Vstyler, It really has nothing to do with "Video Games" If you took the time to read through the site you probably would have "clued" in on that, or Not..

As for your CPU spike...I imagine the themes would give different statistics as do "Dreams"

There is "Ads" Yes...but the themes cater to "Fans" who may be interested in buying that sort of thing..it is called "Marketing"... The files are defintiely clean..

So sorry your experience was not a decent one...much like mine with some of your skins, but I didnt "bad mouth" them...LoL

Yeah, I don't use those for the same reason.

I read thru the site thoroughly and checked out the themes it has EVERYthing to do with marketing games. Thats all I was saying..THATS Adware.. If it looks like a duck..it probably is eh?
Let some other folks download and have a look, It's pretty obvious. I wasn't bad mouthing anything, I assume you posted to show folks and that we may give you our opinion, Well, I gave you mine, sorry if you don't like it, no need to take it personally and be defensive, there's also no need to condascend to me by quoting your words, I'm not a three year old and and I a University degree in marketing, hence the analysis.

They really amount to simple "links" on an "Active" desktop..Kind of like some of the old Win98 active desktops used to have.. There arent Ads that come out at you and smack you in the forhead or anything..LoL..Just a link to a site where you can purchase the the *Movie* if you want..

At anyrate, im annoyed far to easily, I personally could not use them for any length of time...But I did think they were cool, and a great representation of what I had imagined "Dreams" might become.."Without the "Ad-*Links" of course..LOL

They are pretty cool, im not saying that, but ads annoy most people which Is why i was forewarning them. Its no big deal to each their own..also don't be shocked to see ads coming to other theme genres soon enough.
