Multimedia size question

Just wondering how big the Galciv multimedia directories should be.
The game runs fine, but whenever I install the multimedia, it stops downloading about 3 Meg short of the total file size. It then decomparesses the files but seems to stop about halfway through. The intro movies etc play, just wondering if its installed the whole thing. Thanks,
