Is there a way to list habitable unowned planets?

Under DL, obviously all the unowned planets that usable squares could be
inhabited. Normally I would have them sorted based on the number of squares
available.

Under DA, when you do this listing, it lists all of the unowned planets but obviously
you can't inhabit most of them unless you have the techs. Some don't need techs.
The only way to find out from this list is to click on them and then you find out
whether they need aquatic, radioactive, etc. tech.

Is there some way to list all of the unowned planets that can be currently colonized?
I know the main screen shows what kind of planet they are and the color of the special planet icon changes if you have the tech. Maybe the list of unowned planet could show this icon too.

Hi!

I've faced that problem too. 've been living with two uncolonized class-1 planets close to my empire for more than three game-years.

IMO a green/yellow/red icon for ALL (potentially) colonizable planets would be appropriate.

Ever tried F2?

Press the F2 key while on the galaxy map, and a little tool should pop-up that lists all the planets. It's got: Mine, Foriegn, Unowned and All as categories. An icon up at the top of the tool allows you to switch from planets to ships. A very very handy tool, I stumbled onto it by accident.

You can play with the sort options as well, sorting by class, population, and probably a dozen other things.

Yes, that just brings up the planet/colony list which was what I was talking about. The planet list does not show what type of planet it is (automatically inhabitable, aquatic, radioactive, etc.). This is particularly unhelpful for the unowned planet list. You have to click on the planet to see what kind it is.

I guess they never thought about adding that info to the planet list. You should mention this in one of two threads on the go requesting changes for the next patch. I'm sure it's an oversight on Stardock's part that can easily be fixed. I personally never use that list myself, except to find a planet that just flipped to me. I get what info I need from the map itself.
