Epic Generator - Any Chance for a Patch Release?

I'm sorry to bring it up again, but I haven't been able to find a confirmation either way. Is the epic generator definitely kaput? Or is there some hope of it getting released in a patch?

If it is officially dead, is it possible to pull off with a mod?
I just -really- love the idea of an epic generator, and I'd hate to see it die.

No.

The devs have commented that they don't want all the work that went into it to go to waste, but there are no specific plans yet that I'm aware of.

They said they would leave the event logger in, so we can at least harvest useful information for each game, but I think you have to poke around the MyGames folder to find the event file.

If they couldn't fit the ESG into an expansion pack, I doubt it will make it into a patch.

Sad about it not being in the expansion, but we can't be sure that it won't get patched in at a latter date.

The main problems for the devs at the moment is working the current bugs out of DA so that everyone can enjoy it.

Then I hope they will get around to the rest of the things on the to do list..

The only thing I find sad is that EG got axed so late in the DA development process. Its quite clear that it took ALOT of resources from alrdy limited pool of man power at SD. I can only dream that without all this fruitless work we could have got better land combat, deeper espionage system and maybe better UP.

But thats all speculation right there
