When I hit win+d, my icons change

This isn't just win+d, either, it's any of the ways you use in XP to show the desktop (quicklaunch bar, win+d, any shortcut key so configured...)
It's as if Iconx turns itself off, actually. When I bring a program back up, the iconx look comes back.
I'm running 1.11.008, and I downloaded it through stardock central.
I really dig the look, and I love that it draws previews of jpegs as their icons on the desktop, but that's irritating. I use that key combo all the time.

Another niggling problem I have is that when IconX starts, all the Yahoo Widgets I have set to "below" disappear. If I switch them to normal, they re-appear, but when they're on "below" they don't go away when you hit win+d. When they're on "normal" they do.

Any thoughts for me? I started using Windowblinds about 3 months ago, and I liked it so much I got ObjectDesktop.

(I know I could use stardock's widgets, but I've been using Yahoo Widgets since it was Konfabulator, and I really don't want to switch that)

IconX is not at desktop level, use win+m to minimize all windows.

Interesting. I've found when I use right-click, the hide all windows works and doesn't give me the problem.
Why do they do it that way? Is it simpler?
