DA won't run on Vista

I ran this game on a Intel core 2 duo 1.6 Ghz with XP without any problem. I then try to run it on a Intel core 2 Duo 1.86 Ghz with Vista (32-bit edition) and the game is unplayable as it freezes in a very short time from start, no matter what. I have the latest graphic driver updates. I have the latest direct x update for Vista. All my other games don't have a problem. Including those made before Microsoft told anyone about Longhorn, before it was called Vista. My graphics card is

nvidia 7600 GS 256 MB

I have 3 Gigs of RAM

I thought the devs said this would run on Vista?

Please go to C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2 (or wherever you installed the game at), open the debug.err file you find there in notepad, and copy/paste the contents into a post here. If this is a DA report, you'll find the debug in C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2\DarkAvatar instead. This will give us some technical information that can help troubleshoot your problem.

Sorry for posting what I did without checking around the forum. I did a little digging and found the thing about nvidia drivers and vista. I installed the beta 104.41 drivers and it works now.
