WindowFX help plz...

Whenever I run WindowBlinds with the VistaXP theme (or any other "glassy" theme) and then run WindowFX, it locks everything up so I cant bring any applications up. I dont have any effect on besides the simple "window fade-in fade-out" one. Is this happening becuase I dont have any graphix card installed? or is this just a bug in the program. Any sort of help would be really great. Thanks

Your dates are very old for (I just bought them yesterday). Un-install WB5 and download Stardock Central. - https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/

Enter the email address used to purchase WB5 and then download and install the latest version.

Reboot and post the System Information again.

I just went and bought the entire "Object Desktop" but now, in Stardock Central, when I click "Run" after its installed... it goes no where.

Which program are you trying to run. WindowBlinds should auto start after you install it. No need to run from within Stardcok Central. You will also find it in by clicking the Start button, All Programs, Object Desktop, WindowBlinds.

Oh, oops. sorry im tired. Im trying to run WindowFX. I cant find anywhere else to open it but Stardock Central.
It also should be in the same location: Start button, All Programs, ObjectDesktop, WindowFX. That is if you installed it first.

I uninstalled both "old" programs (WB5 and WinFX) before I went bought Object Desktop. Then after I installed everything in Object Desktop (using Stardock Central). Now when I go 'Start/ All programs/Stardock' the only thing in there is "Stardock Central".

Ok, wow. I was just looking around in the "Start" menu and I found an "Object Desktop" Directory which has all of the installed stuff i got in the Object Desktop package. The WindowFX still does nothing though when I click on in 'Start/All Programs/Object Desktop/WindowFX

Here's how i'd go about getting objectdesktop to work assuming a restart was'nt necessary to get fx to kick in or restart failed to make it work

I'll assume all else is working as it should and it's only win fx giving grief:
defrag hdd while that's running use stardock central to delete win-fx once that's done go get ccleaner & run a registry scan leave ticked anything that you recognise as a deleted program and anything to do with any of the webblind & win fx entries,it's safe to leave ticked "missing shortcuts & mui's" . (would'nt hurt to go into program files in drive c and delete any left over entries in the win-fx folder or just delete the complete folder thats's the win-fx folder not objectdesktop...lol...)

i trust no uninstall so usually dive into regedit and delete any folders referring to the prog i want gone just so it has to be reinstalled from scratch since the folders and it's entries are usually left behind in most instances

When you start WindowFX you should see an FX icon at the bottom right of your screen. Right-click that icon and select Configure WindowFX. Select the features you wish to see from the available features.

Ok, now everytime I try to uninstall WindowFX in Stardock Central, a message comes up saying "Stardock Central has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Then everything closes out. I cleaned out my registry and this still happens.

When you start WindowFX you should see an FX icon at the bottom right of your screen. Right-click that icon and select Configure WindowFX. Select the features you wish to see from the available features.

When I hit run in Stardock Central, that icon does not show up at the bottom right of my screen (but everything else does when I hit run Ex: WB5)
