Modifying Silica Weather: Can I upload?

I'd like to modify the Silica Weather object with my own graphics and some other design changes. I understand that I'm supposed to include the permission text only if I use the provided graphics. I was wondering would it be alright if I uploaded a modified version, who would I credit for the script (Stardock?), and do I still have to include the permission text if I'm using my own graphics?

    . Actually, I'm trying to make a complimentary weather widget for the NrG theme since there has been some requests for it. It's going to be 2 in 1 with a calendar and weather. I found Martin's tutorial on calendars but I don't have a clue how to make a weather widget with images etc so.....that's why I opted to modify the Silica one. Thanks for the reply. I'll work on it and see what happens.
