Every saved game crashes to desktop.

This is on a fresh install of GC2 w/ DA. No mods. CustomPlanets.xml modified to include custom planet names. Custom ship templates/configs; the custom .shipcfg files causing an error have been removed. Multiple AI ships can't be located though I'm told that shouldn't cause crashes, only invisible ships; I have played games where the AI ships become invisible. When this happens the game tends to crash after a completed visual battle. At this point I can save games fine but any game I load generates a crash to desktop. Honestly it seems like the game is refusing to save any AI fleet/ship information... yet I assume the AI .shipcfg's are the standard ones in the ship or shiptemplate folder, no? They're all there. I dunno. :/

Same issue. Lots of crashes to desktop. Didn't have this problem earlier in the week, started Friday I think. Upgraded to 1.5 around this time and I don't recall if I had crashes before. My current game definitely got further along so there's a lot more going on now. No "choppiness" to report though. Usually crashes when going through the motions after I hit the "turn" button.

Everyone:

Please install 'SmartException' from the free stuff section in Stardock Central. Make sure that SE is running and start your game as normal. If the game crashes it will generate an exception report that can be emailed to gc2bugs@stardock.com. If SE does not automatically pop up and prompt you to send the report when the game crashes, you can find it at C:\Program Files\Stardock\SmartException (it will be the newest file with a .CRA extension).

Please include a description of what you were doing at the time, how to reproduce the crash if possible, and a zipped save if applicable when you send an SE log to gc2bugs.

Seems linked to 1.5, at least in my case, because I don't remember it being this way before. Can I revert to 1.4? How do I get the 1.4 patch? Can't seem to find old patches on Stardock Central.

In the meantime, I reran my current game, it crashed, and sent the .cra file from SmartException along with the debug and saved game to the gc2bugs address as requested.

Occasional issue pre-1.5 with AI ship graphics being invisible. This would invariably cause a crash while battles were set to visual. The battle would play out then crash to desktop when I tried to close the view post-resolution. Setting battles to instant/auto so it wouldn't switch to the visual mode stopped that.

Post 1.5 I can't get a single save game to load, haven't noticed any invisible ships. I should note that this occurs with old saves as well as new post 1.5 games.

Anyway. Ran SmartException and emailed the appropriate files.
