dxwidget.exe runtime error (requesting unusual termination)

Hello,

I am running Stardock with WindowBlinds 5 (Azenis2 skin). I installed DesktopX day before yesterday and I was running the Vista Sidebar object with it. It was running perfectly. Before shutting off the computer, I set DesktopX to start on startup and then shutdown the machine. When I restarted it, I noticed that DesktopX wasn't running. When I tried to run it from SDcentral, I got the following error:

Runtime Error! The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

I tried uninstalling DesktopX completely, inculding removing all registry keys for it under Stardock, and also all program files (that I could see anyway). I reinstalled it and keep getting the same error. I am not sure what else to do.

Any help is appreciated!

Ok, some more info.

Like I said, I thought I removed EVERYTHING from the DesktopX installation. But anyway, I decided to go into the DesktopX folder and start DesktopX explicitly... and it worked! So now I'm getting the vista-like toolbar (which I thought I had uninstalled)! But trying to run DesktopX from SDCentral still gives the runtime error. Weird.

Ah yeah, I read about that. Now forgive me if I sound stupid, but how exactly do I do that?
