Folder shortcuts on Dock tab

I'm trying to create some Dock entries that are shortcuts to folders/directories. I already have some set up on my Desktop that I drag to a Dock, and they work the first time I click on them, but then won't work after that. If I create a new object on the Dock, it doesn't work at all.

In Dock Entry Properties I set the Link to Windows Explorer to run, then add arguments /e and /n. Then I enter the folder/directory I want to open in Start In. I've tried putting everything in different places on the Properties sheet, but it doesn't seem to matter - it just stops working (or never does at all).

Am I missing somerthing? Or is this just not possible?

Thanks for any help.

there's probably and easy way... but I wouldn't know

i found the easiest way for me to get the dock to open a folder was to point the shortcut to one item in the folder (like a .png - if there isn't one already there, I put one in there) - then go back and edit the dock properties to take out the last part that points to the png - then just the folder opens

Dragging a folder from an explorer window to the dock works for me.

It works fine for me, even across a domain. Check to make sure your not making shortcuts to shortcuts (links).

Are you using OD+ or the free version?
Whichever it is something's not right. Sounds to me like you need to uninstall > reboot > reinstall
