windowblinds not loading..reboot

I had the same problem. In my case, Sunbelt Kerio Personal Firewall would not allow WB to do some operation during activation. I decided to dump SKPF and change to ZoneAlarm. The moral of the story is that not only your antivirus might be preventing the correct installation of WB.

I have the same problem. I had AVG installed as my antivirus and I uninstalled it. I also disabled my firewall. I keep downloading, rebooting and no progress is made. Please help.

I would suggest sending an e-mail to support@stardock.com This site is customers helping customers and at the moment it seems no one here knows the answer. One note is that you should clean your registry if you have been installing & reinstalling any programs. I suggest using jv16 power tools...sounds like something you would use on your house not your computer version 1.3 is free and found jv16 1.3 The other versions are trial only. Note that when cleaning the registry you need to be careful. With jv16 you go to the select menu and after scanning select only those that are safe to remove....this will only select the *green listings. Then reboot. you may choose at this point to reinstall or simply send an e-mail to support.

There are of course other Registry cleaners, free & otherwise, do a google search but beware that you can cause serious damage.
