Install, Slytherin House, can't reinstall

Maybe I'm getting confused - what Slytherin House did you install that needed uninstalling? None of the ones I find need uninstalling.

You mean the WB skin by HeirOfSlytherin?
You mean apply the skin?
Try going into the WB folder and just deleting the Slytherin House folder, then download a new one.

Hi, sorry for the confusion. I changed the blind for a different one to check if everything was working ok ( new computer build ). Yes it was HeirOfSlytherin , and yes I have uninstalled it and redownloaded 4 or 5 times. I have a friend who has the same trouble with this blind. In the windowblinds config it does not show the sample blind, it shows ("). Other blinds that I have tried work fine.

Have you tried saving it to a folder, ie a Windowblinds folder in My Documents or your desktop? Then open Windowblinds and select Add Skin, then browse to the folder you saved it in and select it. Occasionally that is the only way some blinds will install correctly.

I save every skin to its own folder in My Documents, this avoids the need to redownload if any problems occur with installing it. Then I simply open the corresponding program & manually install the program.

Which blind by HeirOfSlytherin ?
Was it Gryffindor House ? He just updated that blind with all new graphics but kept same file name - he said to uninstall old version before installing new version..have you checked the WB folder to see if there are more than one WB file in there ?
I installed that new version without a problem after deleting old version from folder.

But..I have not updated to new WB build either...

I've had this same problem that he is describing with a few older skins - but I think I ended up just deleting the blind and not looking for the cause..

Thanks to everyone for trying to help, I've given up with this blind. May I suggest you try it for yourselves. Don't forget, you can install for the first time but not for the second.
