If all those music files were in there, I suppose a sort by folder size might turn up the missing item.

Here are 2 FREE programs that will find you lost folder......as long as you have not deleted anything after it. I have used these programs myself and they work.

Pc Inspector File Recovery
Pc Inspector Smart Recovery

Hope that helps

I dont udnerstand. ObjectDock doesn't contain any files it self, only shortcuts to files. So if something is dragged out from the dock the only thing that disappears is the shortcut.

There's an option in ObjectDock that prevents icons from being dragged about.

I have accidently dragged folders off my Object dock too..it happens quite easily. Did you happen to save the Object Dock theme ? I learned that it was easier to save the Theme right from the start for this very reason..then you just load the Theme back up and missing folder shortcut will be there again....you sure thats all he did was pull it off ?

Copy/paste this into the run command. %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock

Once there, open the Object Dock folder and look for a Theme_backup.ini. Open this file and search through all the shortcuts and look at their paths. If the shortcut that got dragged off isn't on there then you're not going to get that path back unless you just creat another shortcut and link to it as everyone has stated.

Remember that this shorcut (folder) that was deleted wasn't really "Deleted", it was only a shortcut to the "folder" located on your hard drive that was deleted. If you need it so badly, I would suggest searching your drives folder by folder to find it

or simply search the folder with windows search (in start menu) in all LocalDrives
