Only some of the skins are appearing...

Hi, I recently purchased this Object Desktop and was excited. Yet for some reason, the preloaded themes work (I think) ok. But anything I download from a website such as wincustomize, does not. When I set it there are no error messages or anything but there is usually only the wallpaper changing and there is no taskbar or really anything for that matter. The one best example I can give is the theme: Vista_Look_2 which is from adni 18. The only thing that shows up is the desktop and the calendar. There is nothing else, why? And just another is aero 2 which is included with the software. It doesn't work. Why not?

first question - is your resolution at 1280x1024? if it's smaller than things tend to disappear off screen

I don't find anything named aero 2 as coming with any of the software in any of my folders. the closest thing i found via a search is Aero-XP {VERSION 2} = which I also can't run without modifying since my resolution is locked at 1024x768

Some of the DesktopX theme do not have task bars - they have system trays etc . A lot of the themes when first loaded won't look like the previews because most load with everything ' hidden' until you click on buttons to open up items. But you must set your resolution to what the Theme calls for before you apply it like Bichur said above - or half the buttons etc will be off your screen.

I believe both of the themes you mentioned have a read me txt file in their respective folders
