DA Graphics Performance, Terrible :(

Hello,

I've really enjoyed GalCiv2 and never had a problem...runs silky smooth.

My system is a AMD FX57, 2GB Ram, 7800GTX x2, SB Audigy Gamer, etc...FYI, running VISTA x86 (32-bit) with latest drivers.

Much to my surprise, Im getting what could best be described as 'jerky' graphics. I've tried to lower the settings to no avail...although I feel with my system I shouldn't have to. Hell, it even runs Vanguard at 50FPS....

Anyways, looking forward to DA, but won't play it until performance is fixed. Any ETA or has there been any identified issues?

Its probably the AMD, which should be solved with an update from the AMD site. At least thats what I've read as I don't have an AMD myself. Theres also a thread about it stickied somewhere, not sure where though....

Yes that's your problem, what you need is the duel core update.

You should get a boost in most of your games by installing it.
