Can't apply new windowblind without locking up my machine?

Using XP 2nd Ed; the last two builds of Windowblinds downloaded using Stardock C, have caused problems when applying a new windowblind. 

When I click on a new windowblind, and apply - the blur screen appears and locks up my system, "<B>every time</B>." forcing a reboot.  Anybody have suggestions?


WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 5 (5.5 (build 91 x86))

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC

WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC

video drivers up to date?

Can't say it's all skins because don't have enough time to try all. Surfice to say, 2-3 easily; and yes, my video drivers are up to date.

Have you recently updated the drivers.

I ask because newer is not always better.
