Wrong version after the update of WindowBlinds 5.50.017!!!!

Hello,

After the upgrade of WindowBlinds build 5.49s beta to 5.50.017 via Stardock Central, the build number is 5.1. Before the update: 5.49s beta.

I try this tip: «I would suggest changing download servers under Tools->Settings and in the Internet Section. You might also want to 'Refresh XML Data' as well.»

Same problem.

But, WindowBlinds show me via "System Information": WindowBlinds 5.1.

I'm really disappointed!!!!

If you uninstall the incorrect 5.50.017 (that is really 5.1), close SDC, restart SDC & go into Tools/Settings/Internet and click "Refresh XML data", the correct beta will be listed as available and the erroneous version will no longer appear. You can then install the 5.49 beta. If activation issues persist, you can email either sales@stardock.com or support@stardock.com, or hop on SDC Chat & you can often get some help there.

And people on here wonder why I post bugs/issues on here instead of sending them email. You should have come here first dude. Uninstall WindowBlinds and reinstall it via SDC. All will be fine. Read through this entire thread and it'll make sense.

Ive done that who knows how many times man

For awile it changed to Error 0, then back to Error 6.

I don't get what the point is in having a support branch of a company if nothing really goes ... supported is the word im looking for?

Everything is sorted; milksama (Mike) reset my activation count and all is back to normal, WB has been activated without any hickups!
