Personally I find grammatical mistakes and typos less annoying than nitpicking and posting off topic

On topic, good target's for spy's include galactic wonder's, the various capital's, and of course any revenue generating improvement's.

Well, it depends. Often just putting a spy on one manufacturing square will do more than putting it on the manu cap. Same with research. You have to look at the stats before and after.


As to those who are hijacking this thread, at the risk of drawing flame-fire, the internet, and hence forums, are not the same thing as the printed word. And they're also international, which is actually a good thing. I'd rather hear from someone in Germany or Romania, or China, in poor English, than to have those people scared off by fraktard anal "grammarians." Which grammarians, by the way, when push comes to shove, probably only know grammar by way of instinct. If there's a "real" grammar expert in these forums, he probably knows enough to realize that forums are quite distinct from scholarly writings, or even newspapers.

How hard a life you must have. Upset by improper grammar, Grow up. We are not all American's or use English as our first language. And even if we are, what the hell does it matter if our grammar is not up to your standards. Last time i looked neither of your names are ranked higher than citizen, so step down from your high horse.

Not everyone on here is American and nor are they all English speakers. I guess it was naive of me to think that either of you would be mature or intelligent enough to see through the cultural differences and not throw in your petty and trivial comments.

When Kryo or Brad or the like insist on proper grammar, flame away. Till then, show some restraint and be helpful or be gone.

But you probably won't hit at me, because I'm not going to be grammatically "improper." To me, that's a wimpy stance. Sorry, but that's my opinion of this whole attitude. Hit those who can't English up? I know that's what you were moving away from in your apology, but why leave it open for those who "know" English? What's the point? Who is anyone to guess who is a native speaker and who not, just from posts? Besides, as I said above, "forum speak" is a different genre, and hence language, from written English. Educated people will recognize that.
