Can ship designs from DL be imported to DA?

I love some of the new ship parts and jewelry from DA. I made a couple of Star Trek ships that I had posted, but now that there are pre-made saucer sections and the like, I'd like to upgrade my Enterprise, for example. But I don't want to start from scratch (my original Enterprise took me ten hours). Can I import designs from DL and then upgrade them with parts from DA?
