No Eventmovies not played, after that all sound is gone!

Hi all.
First, excuse my bad english - but i try to explain, what i have ssen sofar playing DA.
I purchased today the Gold edition - befor i used to play GaCivII Dread lords, german version, patch 1.40. Great game, everything works fine.
Now, i tried to play my new downloaded GaCivII (in english) - but, no sound at all. Well, second i decided to play DA - after the first event should occur (mars is settled), no movie is played - i can see only a white big horizontal line...and, after that, no sound, no music ....absolutely quit.
I like this game so much - please, can anybody tell me, what to do? Or is this a known issue?? If so, please, look into this, cause, without the very good music, GaCiv makes no sense to me!

My specs: P Dual Core E6400, 2 Gig Ram, Gforce Nvidia 7800, on Board Sound Realtek (wich works fine with every other game i have)
