Strange error, please help.

When I try and run the game it says "The product appears to be validated but the serial number or the machine SID don't match". I was playing it yesterday, what is going on here?

You should simply need to delete the file sig.bin (located in C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2\DarkAvatar), and run the game and reactivate. If you don't have your DA serial handy you can get it mailed to you at this page.
