url objects open in the same browser window

please tell me it ain't so.....i have a dock with a dozen url objects in it. everytime i click a different url, it opens in the previous window, forcing me to use the back button to get to the previous url. how the heck do i force objectdock to open urls in a separate window (ie6x is my browser)

thanks!

go into OD configuration and find the part about "if a program is running just bring it to the front" (something like that) and uncheck it

Rats....i did that, but it did not change the behavior. it still opens new urls in the same window.

btw, the option you refer to is under ObjectDock Properties > General > Advanced Options > "When shortcut is run, if program is already running bring it to the foreground only."

However when enabling this option, a popup warning appears saying that this option does not work on tabbed docks. bummer

yepper, but I'm at work and no unauthorized apps allowed - so I got as close as I could

tools > internet options > advanced - is 'reuse windows for launching shortcuts' checked?
