Finally its here. I pre-ordered DA in November and I was playing beta since then.
When I saw the announcement for the release on 14th February I hoped I could get it a little sooner through Stardock update.
So finally a week before on 6 Feb. its available for those who pre-ordered it.
(its still downloading.. can't wait)    

Yes I wanted to say that and let others know and of course thank you guys at Stardock..
(hope your servers will not slow down after my post..)   

I have 2 questions. I ordered only the download not the box version.
Will be there a link to download an exe file so I can save or burn it on CD?
Metaverse will accept the scores from DA now?

Just right click on it in SDC and use the archive option.

Metaverse will accept the scores from DA now?


It has for a while... just not from the beta (see my profile)

Another question.. if I decide later to get the box version GCII+DA, what do I have to do since I have the GCII Collectors Edition and would be better to have the cd's for a single install.

I'm a little unclear, for preorders, on how the purchasing account is linked to Stardock Central. I had to make a separate account when I purchased DA, so how would it know to give me the download through SDC? Will an access key be emailed or... how does this work?

By email address. If you used a different one than you use on the forum/SDC, then you may need to contact support@stardock.com and request an account merge once you've received an email notice that DA is available for you.

Ah, that's so simple it didn't even occur to me. I do use the same email address for both, so I guess I'm set. Thanks for putting my mind at ease.

I think only for new games, ganes started under the Beta don't work (tried to upload one i just finised and it did not accept)

They are being charged through in the same order they were ordered, so just keep an eye on your email for your notice.

Also, a 1.5 update for GalCiv2 ?


Some bug fixes and DA compatibility, nothing too major but it is required for DA.
