Help. When I click on a skins library in sd central, I get a message stating there was an error downloading the selected library. Please try again. It happens no matter which library I click. Shutting down and rebooting does not help.

I don't recall seeing any information about the changes to the system. Surely subscribers should have been warned.

This?  Good start, for sure... hope it'll help you hold out

I assuming that comment was directed at me since I am the only person upset about this crap. I think in the future if they are going to make something inoperatable they should inform their subscribers in another way other than in the forum, like a nice little email to inform us. I sent two freaking days reinstalling SDC, reinstalling WCB, reinstalling my virus program and other malware programs, all thinking that it was my computers fault that it wasn't working, and then to find out they broke it on purpose. Sorry I have much better things to do with my time than wasting it on a software program that was broken by the developers.

Yeah I know I can use the site to download things, but that is not what paying for the subscription was all about. Anybody on earth could download from the galleries, without a subscription, so the service that was sold through the subscription is not being delivered.

Amen, Brother! I emailed them too and got the same. Why even have sd central if we have to go somewhere else to get stuff.

The browser issues were an unforseeable consequence of increased traffic after the site redesign.

Well, it appears that stardock is at it again! I am getting very tired of this crap! I am once again not able to browse skin libraries in stardock central. Same exact crap as last time. I wonder if there would be any use in asking for a refund of my subscription fee? Think I will email them and ask, since I have to go to wincustomize and dig thru crap anyway. I am truly pissed!

PuterDudeJim ....SDC has to handle dynamic site content which is managed by considerably more than one server.  If/when there is a shutdown/reset things will get 'wobbly', whether on SDC or standard IE/FF/Op browser.

If SDC's content has not updated, etc then until such time as caches clear/reset, etc simply access Wincustomize via your browser [assuming the database is accessible OK there].

If not, it's as with any temporary glitch....it's temporary.

I personally do not use SDC to browse WC so have not noticed a recent issue with it, though generally I read there are some ini files that can be deleted and the DB will restore correctly.

Someone will clear this up for you shortly...I'm sure....

Your second thread on the same subject was redundant, as looking further up it is clear/likely to be the same issue, so as suggested use your normal net browser for the time being...until the updates/work is resolved...
