how to use .desktop themes?

I was looking around quite a while and haven't found an answer to my question yet. So I'm asking here now. How do I use the .desktop themes? I used stylexp so far but it doesn't accept .desktop themes

.desktop themes = files desktopX
You need DesktopX to use this theme
