Open Stardock Central > Tools > Settings > Check "Enable MCP Notification Area Support" > Reboot
This should load a process called SDMCP.exe which is required for System Tray support.

thanks for reply,Unfortunately the dock still can't read system tray !!

Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Stardock\ and see if you have a file called "SDMCP.EXE".

If not, then download the mcp here and run it. Then attempt to create your system tray dock.

Stardock Central > Tools > Settings > Check "Enable MCP Notification Area Support" is allowed, sdmcp is running (it is listed as an active process in task manager), but the system tray tab still does not display any icons.

(WinXP Pro SP2).

Thx for any advice.

Just to be sure......your all using Object Dock +, not the free version which does not support the systray.......right?

When this was originally posted sdmcp.exe was necessary. Since then version 1.9 was released and it is no longer needed. I have seen a few threads related to non-english versions having issues. If your in that category I'd email support@stardock.com and see if there's been a fix.

yes. but i try to use the default(and English) without any language file,
there is still the same problem.
so i don't know what the problem is.

English language referred to your operating system, means: if you have a Greek, Polish, French, Norwegian, German.... etc. Windows, you'll probably have problems with system tray support.

No, as it seems, there is no solution at the moment for it, that's what the forum says. You need to wait for the new version.
