CursorXP random pixels

I hope this is the right place. I couldn't find anything better, so I'll put it here and see how badly I get my ears boxed <G>

CursorXP slowly accumulates a little cloud of black pixels over the cursor as it runs on my system. If I disable/enable it, they go away, then slowly begin to accumulate. I tried to take a screenshot, but they didn't show in the screen shot.(?!) It caught my cursor fine (starfighter, if it matters . . . I haven't tried a different one yet), but not the dots, even though they were still there.

Any suggestions on getting rid of them? Anyone else experience this?

Thanks!

More info:

It happens with diff. cursors, and it happens just moving around on the screen.

There's a "joke" program avail. for free, somewhere on the net, saw it a while back, that supposedly puts "mouse poops" on your screen as you move your cursor. You'll have to run a search engine on various combinations to find it, like maybe "Mouse poops on desktop", or "cursor trails", etc, but you'll find it. Not sure if this is what you've got, but could be. Check your C:\Programs file and so forth, maybe somebody "r.f.ed" you...? Also check Cursor XP in the trails option and see what's there...
luck w/that!

Cool! Instant responses!

TYCUS: 1 gig of ram

Seldom: The dots follow the cursor, and vanish when CursorXP is disabled. It's not a trail, or any other CXP setting, I've tried turning each on and off. I'll follow up on the joke you're talking about, but its very unlikely...my wife and I are the only ones with access, and we run VERY high security against outside "attacks".

And no, it doesn't happen on her system...only on mine.
