Play After End Game

I think a feature like in Civilization series to play after end game would be great fun.

Thanks

I agree. Im one of those people who play this game and really want to play until I lose. there should always be techs to research (+1 techs for land, eco, ships ect)always problems to fix (Confederate factions, somone turns evil...) and really no one stays on top for ever. just looking at our history shows that no matter how pwerful for a time. eventually the Superpower will fall.
DA allows for a continuing end however. If a few fixes would be made to make the top ten races be the Major races (can get swapped out from time to time) all it really is is a simple picture change for a new random smart race. And if you control the entire galaxy, dont you think somones going to revolt? or split off into multiple factions and cause a huge civial war with multiple fronts?
The only real limitation to this game is that there is a limit to the galaxy. Space goes on forever (at least as far as we know) so say even when you do conquer your system, say another system has been dueling it out for a long time. so you travel there all the while your original system has to deal with its own problems.
This game has more then the capability to go on forever with a few more tweeks in my opinion

A continue playing feature is also available in WarCraft III, except the AI is disabled at the end.

More than once I've been forced into a victory I couldn't avoid, and didn't want. One example is where I wanted to win one more war before I moved for a diplomatic victory. But the three civs that I wasn't friends with were all allied, and I couldn't take them all at once. So I thought of makeing it into a huge 3v3 uber war, but then I realized that would give me a diplo victory. SO I just allied with the other three and called it a day, completely unsatisfied.

Yeah, that would be a good idea. Expanding the game after you 'win' for as long as you want. I like the extra system thing, it just makes sense for another area of space, it doesn't matter where, to exist. Then just assign it different pieces of the AI from the others and the expansion continues. That would be awesome.

i would like to see who would win if i wouldn't make it to the end game.
i wanna see if the damage i did to race A was enough for him not to get the victory.

Also, i would like the game to keep track of who wins with statistics and all, but i doubt that is gonne happen.

That's why I turn diplo victory off, it's simply too easy and not challenging enough.

If at least it was like Alpha Centuri, when you asked for a diplo victory, everyone that liked you would ally you and declare war on those who didn't, and there was a big battle...
