Make panel dissapear

How do I do it?

How do I get the white panel at the bottom of the logon screen to go away. This is a panel that has the shut down computer button and the blurb on the right that I never read. Can't you tell I am new at this?

I like the logon UI software. It is nice to look at something different for a change.

You can set the height of the bottom panel to 0 and that will get rid of it, but it will also get rid of the Shutdown button.

When you are creating a logon and you want the wallpaper to be full screen, with no top and bottom panels showing, set the top panel to "False" and the wallpaper will fill in that space.

The bottom panel default setting is 100 px. So if you have a 1280x1024 wallpaper, you need to crop the bottom 100 off of it and use it for the bottom panel, and the remaining 1280x924 image for the center panel. If you do it right, they will match and you won't be able to tell where they were cropped.

It's easier said than done...it takes some practice and trial and error, but that's all part of the fun.

Thank you for answering so fast. I have set the bottom panel to False but there is still a white panel left. I will try cropping the picture and using it for the bottom panel. I just don't understand why it is there after the bottom panel is removed. Oh well. I really like the new images I have downloaded.

Setting the bottom panel to false will leave the white panel. You have to set the height to 0 for it not to show.

It's best either to crop the wall to use for the bottom panel, or use a color or gradient if you don't want to crop it.
