custom maps(IN DA)

ok i got my maps to sort of work in DA i change the ships ID and the RACE ID


i can`t name planets other than home planet   

and the Asteroid Fields i can`t add to custom maps either is this added to custom maps yet ???

ok so i got custom maps working !!! sort of

now if i use no mods everything is find i had to re name the star system i call sol because the humans would not load with it!! now they do!!!

I`m using a custom race with a named star system and planet ,... if i check use mods,.. the star system is renamed and planets are renamed to the star system name,.. if i uncheck use mods,.. then it works ok !!!!

and help here maybe ????

Currently, the mapeditor is not working properiy with either mod option enabled. This will be implemented in a future version.
Please, since you seem to invest some time into the mapeditor, it would be kind if you were posting a sort of experience-summary into the GalCiv2IDE forum at I-mod-productions. May you also could describe the rename thingy a bit closer?

LOL MrKorx this map was made long before you took over making your`s

i was able to add what was needed for DA to it after i saw a map for DA around one of the 1.6 updates it stop working right !!

I think it is in the way the game looks at mods now,.. I`ll see if i can write a longer write up on it,.. the map was build part way with GC2builder and edited with note pad!!! yes i use note pad allot!!! and i check the xml file in IE to see if i have errors !!
but if you need me to try something in your editor let me know

I`ve tried working with your editor and yes it`s better but still not right yet
