Pleasehelp with ObjectDock

Hello

I have some issues using the program and i would like to ask for some help

1. Although i do not have the "Always On Top" mode on, sometimes when i open a file or folder the dock is still visible. I dont want it to be. Is this a kind of bug? I know that it is always visible when "Always On Top" is enabled, but shouldnt it hide when opening a new window when that option is not enabled. It doesnt happen always but i noticed that it does when opening things that open fast (like .txt files)

2. Sometimes when i choose a icon on the dock and then move the mouse aways, the icon stays magnified even though im not using the dock and the mouse is away. Then when i move there again it goes normal. Is this another glitch?

Please let me know

What your referring to is called Focus. This is not an Object Dock issue it's common to the way Windows works. Until you clik into a new window/desktop/taskbar or whatever Object Dock will continue to have the "focus"

After you open a file click on the Window of the program and it will have the focus and OD will "hide" same with after clicking an icon....click something like the desktop and OD will "hide"

As a Windows user for 18 years, I would have to agree - there is a lot of behavior that is firmly under the control of Windows, and not us programmers.

First, I should mention I purchased OD+ almost a year ago, and I love it. But, I have the opposite problem - I want it to always be on top. I find that sometimes, after having been running for a while (like a few days), it seems to lose it's Always on Top - the setting is turned on, but it doesn't stay on top any more unless I quit & restart it. Very minor, but an annoyance. I am running XP Pro.

This is most likely due to the Windows bug of how in handles/draws layers with Alpha Transparency, which OD uses. Sometimes refreshing screen, changing res or logging out and back in will correct it. I do the same as you when this happens, quit then restart OD. If you use CursorXP, it is the same Windows bug that causes cursor to be drawn under windows or as I have had time to time, under OD instead of on top of it.

I toggle the Always on Top setting off, and back on, and that generally clears it up.
