alien vivs aren't talking to you as much anymore

Has anyone noticed that the aliens stopped talking to you directly when they're surrendering (and you find out that they've surrendered in the GNN announcements)with the new patch?

Similarly when they declare war. They don't talk to you on the intercom thing, it just gets announced on GNN.

Yes, the lack of event messages is a known issue in 1.4x.

FYI, I am not a dev. In any case, it really depends on how soon the devs are able to take some time away from DA and work on GC2 1.4 again. I'm not sure when that will be myself, but I will try and ask them when they get in this morning.
