RightClick doesnt work

It could possibly be your firewall blocking the install as far as the startup problem. I know when I installed it Zone Alarm asked for permission to set it to start with the computer. Possibly Windows Defender or some other program which asks about new startup programs.

As far as losing the menus, I have it happen very rarely, usually when I've installed some new program and it messes up something in the registry.

I keep a copy of the whole RightClick folder in My Documents, so if something happens, I can just copy it to the Stardock folder and overwrite the RightClick folder with the one that was working.

It's my most used program, and I can see why you want it to work right. Good luck, maybe somebody else has a better answer.

It is about time somebody looks into this. Reported this several times... For me I have given up and link to Folders containing Shortcuts via Rightclick now.

Right-Click will not run on Start-Up on a domain as far as I can tell. As to losing configurations, you need to pay attention at shutdown. The program will ask you to save a modified theme. I found put that if you DO NOT respond (either yes or no) then it borks your menu at the next run. I always keep a backup copy of EVERYTHING in my right click directory after making any modifications.

I always wondered what that was, since I didn't have any so-called "themes" running at the time that I was aware of. I always click "no" and haven't lost my RC menus after. But I better not chance it in the future.

The last time I lost it was with the .025 build of WB a week or so ago. So I unstalled and the newest .026 build works fine.

The only time I've lost themes is when I have not responded. I often say "no" becuase I only changed the Windowblind while using the skin that matches the current blind.
