Saving Desktop

Please! Please help!

Good afternoon everyone,

I recently bought this software for my husband but I've been overwhelmed by it all. I use it all the time!   

Thank you before hand for your help. My question is this: When I finish creating the ULTIMATE desktop design. How Do I Save It? when I load windows it always prompts me to reload a new copy. Please help!

Need a little more information as to which programs you are using to create your ULTIMATE desktop.

More information would help, but the short anser is that if you have purchased an Object desktop subsription and gone crazy installing and applying everything you can, you can use Theme Manager to Save it all as one big package.

File | Save Desktop

Let us know how that works.

cecita Hi..if you are talking about using Theme Manager all you do is click on file, scroll over to save desktop and save it. Hope this helps...

oh gosh!

I think I am more confused then when I started.

Maybe if I explain what I am doing it would help.

Okay so I use Desktop Object to use a theme to set up widgets and wallpapers and all that good stuff that.

When my computer shutsdown. What I have created to be the perfect suite goes with it. At boot up I have to start all over again. Dexkto X opens, Load Desktop and reinstall widgets. Confusing righ?  I don't want to give up but ..................(sighs) I've read all the tutoris. Most of the forums and still can not find what I am looking for.

If I understand you correctly I think you will need to enter DesktopX Builder.  You can them "build" your ultimate desktop, and save it as a desktop theme.  You can access the DX Builder by right-clicking the DX icon in the system tray.
