can't get objectbar to dock to left side of screen

title says it all, how exactly do I do this? Everytime I click dock/undock it will lock it only to the top or the bottom of screen, not to a side...

which OB theme?

I just opened and ran

'vista bar'
when i undocked it, it disappeared off screen - had to uncheck 'on top' to get it back
moved it to the left, auto hide works, docked it - it docked left


'accessorize'
only docks top and bottom

'friendly'
auto hide off - switched left and right - set to dock - dock works

I believe you have to choose when you first make a dock whether it will be vertical or horizontal. You can drag the corners to make it bigger vertically but I don't think it will dock on the side.
