'No tray icons...' SOLVED

I posted a good while back about not being able to get my tray to work with ODPlus. This was on a laptop with an ATI Radeon card. I recently updated the ATI drivers to the latest compatible Omega drivers for my card and magically upon restarting the computer - my glorious systray was up and running in OD.

So, this may not help everyone, but it may be worth a try. You can get the Omega Drivers here: http://www.omegadrivers.net/ati.php

I got my version of this solved also (only *some* tray icons were being displayed!). Stardock's Mike/milksama tracked down the problem to the "SSDP discovery service" and "Universal Plug and play device host" services.

Once these were stopped and disabled, it all came back up fine. Aparrently there are some Microsoft KB articles on this: Link 1 and Link 2
