Is this the invisible ship bug i heard about...

Hi
I have heard about an invisible ship bug, i thought it related to player ships.
However i have been noticing AI ships vanishing and then re - apearing the next turn to attack my stuff.

I thought they were just quick or somthing. but then i caught one in the act -battleship got past my defences and destroyed one of my starbases. I looked around and it wasn't there! So i thought it must have disbanded itself.

Next turn it re-appeared right where i had expected it to be... right next to the previous starbase it destroyed and then preceeded to destroy more of my starbases!

Please go to C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2 (or wherever you installed the game at), open the debug.err file you find there in notepad, and copy/paste the contents into a post here. This will give us some technical information that can help troubleshoot your problem.

Thank you for the advice.

I certainly have plenty of crash reports from Galciv games.... it's been crashing since galciv 1 was released. Its been crashing left right and centre through 3 different computer systems over 3 years. There is nothing at all unusual in that for a Galciv game. However, As soon as i get home i will post the debug reports.

Still a great game though!

O.o

i have never had galciv crash on me

granted, i've not played the beta much, but not ever once has DL crashed on me

you must have the worst luck if your copy has been crashing that consistently...
