How to restore original XP icons?

I have installed and uninstalled The Christmas Time Desktop Theme. Now I have got the recycle bin icon from the The Christmas Time Desktop Theme and not the original XP icon. How can I restore that? Just restoring with the XP Theme manager doesn't work.

Since the icon was changed I can assume you have IconPackager ( IP ) installed, open it, top of list is Windows default, select, load and apply it.
If still will not change, from menu bar in IP, Tools, select Rebuild Icon Cache, then Repair Icon Images and then Repair Shell Icons.

Cavan1...

Isn't that the theme that comes as an exe with it's own program components?

I'm not real sure you need IP to change the icons (using it)

Hey Sir B. I just downloaded it to check, it has IP in it. I think IP is needed now to restore/repair default icons.

Just moved the suite file from My Colors to Theme Manager 2007, it applied all but icons, it opened IP, icons now in list but did not apply them.

I had seen that but did not read thread. The orig Christmas suite is still in suite gallery, thought it was the one being referred to.

I would think it would, maybe Tweak UI; Repair, Rebuild Icons. download Tweak UI

Has the icon for one of the following desktop items changed and you want to revert it back to the default?

* My Computer
* My Documents
* My Network Places
* Recycle Bin (full)
* Recycle Bin (empty)

1. Right-click an empty area of the desktop and choose "Properties".

2. When the "Display Properties" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "Desktop" tab.

3. Click the "Customize Desktop" button.

4. A "Desktop Items" dialog box will appear. Make sure the "General" tab is selected.

5. Choose an icon to change back.

6. Click "Restore Default".

7. Click "OK" on the dialog boxes to close them.

Hey guys, Thanks for your replies. JAMMEISTER33: Didn't work. CAVAN1: It worked with the repair function of TWEAK UI! I only had to rearrange the icons afterwards. I didn't test IP.
