idea for gameplay mooe, observer

if anybody has played star trek armada 2, you have an opation not to play, but, be an observer. in mu;ltiplayer you can watch players, in single AI. you don't get resources or anything, but you can watch. imagine this in gal civ 2! place all ai on highest level, all at war with eachother, you become an observer, and just watch the galaxy gracefully slide into absolute choas and oblivion   .

I think this would be fun, you still press the turn button, but you dont have planets or resources, your a spectator. is there a way this can be put into DA? i really wanna watch the ai kill itself!!!!!
