Unable to open games while windows fx loaded?

opengl errors etc...

Hi,I am using windows fx 3.0 with windows xp 32 bit. all the features work fine for me except that as long as i have fx loaded i cant open any games or my tv tuner application.Is there a way around this?I even tried setting exclusions for the games etc but it doesnt help. any idea hoe to solve this?Here is the console dump from quake 3: Thanks for your help! What video driver do you have?  It looks like the OpenGL part of the drivers is upset.

Sigh... Ive seen a few instances of games not launching using WindowFX.

Luckily you can exclude these apps in WindowFX...

I'm having exactly the same problem on my machine which has an ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 video card with 256MN RAM and the latest drivers. None of the games I run will operate if WindowsFX is either running, or has been running, since the machine was rebooted (ie unloading the program is NOT enough). Adding application to the exclusion list does not work either.

Games that are failing include: Tomb Raider Legend, Nexus The Jupiter Incident, Star Trek Bridge Commander, Halo, World Championship Snooker and Heroes of Might and Magic V.

The error messages I am getting seem to imply that there is a problem with OpenGL, but one that only manifests when WindowsFX has been active.
