feature request

been wondering and looking for it, though no success - is there a way to make docktabs active on mouse over rather than clicking on it?

Right-click the tabbed dock > Dock Settings > General tab > Advanced Options > under General Extra Options make sure to check "Automatically active mouseovered tab when using autohidden tabbed docks".

This is not offered for a non hidden tabbed dock as of now...hopefully in future versions.

appreciate your input and although I had this said checkbox checked I am sort of confused now - what are "autohidden tabbed docks"? I mean my tabbed dock is hidden unless I hit the defined hotspot, in which case it would show up. But what I was actually referring to is not the dock, I meant the tab on the dock, to make a tab on the dock active on mouseover.

If you have a tabbed dock in a "drawer" (so the tabs show but the content is hidden)that's an "autohidden tabbed docks"

The activate tab on mouseover only works when the dock is hidden. Once the dock is unhidden, you must click a tab to select it.

As long as the dock is hidden, which your's sounds like it is, then when you mouse over the tab, with the above mentioned option checked it will come to the foreground with that tab active.

right on, that is exactly not working for me... even all the conditions are set, I still need to click on the tabs to be the active. seems to me like another flaw in ODP's claimed Win Vista compatibility like the empty systray...   btw, why the heck it is impossible to start another paragraph by hitting enter in this message window when being in Stardock Central, though it works in any other browser?

Uninstall/reboot/reinstall?

did not change a thing. I reckon it has to do with Win Vista
