Just purchased full version, now how do i get it!?

Hello, everyone
Let me start by saying that I love the window blinds software, and that (until now) it has been increadibly easy to use. I've just finished my 60 day trial of WB 5.0 and purchased, from www.stardock.com, WB 5.0. I gave them all my billing info and recieved an order confirmation with serial/registration numbers and two links from which to download the full version, one link for the XP software, one for 9x-2000. My OS is WindowsXP so, after uninstalling WB 5.0 trail, I clicked on the link to download WB 5.0 for XP users. The Download program dialog box appeard and I clicked "save". Everything up to this point has gone as expected. After selecting the directory to which the program will download, the download of the 10.1mb file commences, but at about 2.1 - 3.9mb downloaded, the "download complete" box appears and has options to run the program, open the containing folder, or cancel. I thought this was odd, because only a small portion of the program had downloaded. I clicked "run" and a message saying that Windowblinds5.0 is not a valid program appears.
I really don't know what is going on; my internet connection is stable (all beit a dial up connection), I assume that this is the correct link from which to download WB for XP....Does Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to get my full version of WB 5.0?

Many thanks,
Jon

Might be simpler to download Stardock Central (free) from Stardock's website. Install Stardock Central & enter the registration information in SDC when prompted. Then click on the Object Desktop section & it should show you the version of WB you've paid for - highlight it, click on the install button & let SDC take the worry out of being close. I'd again be sure the WB trial version is completely uninstalled before doing so, however.

One big benefit of using SDC is you can set it to autoarchive existing application versions when you update to new ones - makes it very simple to revert to a prior working version if a new version happens to cause problems on your particular rig.
