Dock very jerky - I'm using 1.5

Since upgrading to 1.5 I've noticed that my Dock icons expand/contract in a very jerky way, in fact momentarily freezing when the mouse is over one Icon only to suddenly unfreeze a moment or two later when it's over another Icon. (I have them set to Autohide.) Changing performance options didn't seem to make any difference, and restarting the computer with a very basic startup (with msconfig - no non-Microsoft services, no startup items) didn't make any difference either, so it doesn't seem to be a conflict with some other program running on my computer.

Changing the system priority of ObjectDock to realtime helped a little bit, there is still jerkyness, but at least the Dock is usable. Of course, I could set the expand/contract when mousing over the Dock to be off, but I would like this program to behave as designed. Anyone know what could be wrong, or have similar issues?

Still no answer from Tech support on this, though they said they'd get back to me!

ObjectDock has two rendering settings... optimize for performance, and optimize for looks. Properties - General - Performance Options. Change it to Optimize for Memory, and make other tweaks as needed and see if that helps you out. Another tip is changing the zoom width from the default 5 icons (I think) to something like three. In my opinion, that looks better anyways. Hope this helps!

: Were you being assisted through the support system? If so, what was your ticket number?

In addition to CerebroJD's suggestion, have you tried (under Dock Settings->Appearance) setting the Icon size and magnified size to be relatively the same (within 30 pixels or so)? This should require fewer resources and should allow ObjectDock to run more smoothly on your system.
