Why are some of my newly created ships not showing up in future games?

Some ship types do show up and some do not in later games.
And when they do not,I do have the techs to create them.
I have to do them all over again.

You also need to have enough miniaturization for them to show up, not just the techs for the components themselves.

metaverse / non metaverse use different ship directories

There's also an option in 1.4 where ships won't get saved from game to game.

Now all they need :
1) an option to save a hull design to hard-drive.
2) an option to never display the crappy pre-made ships. (and kryo don't tell me to pick custom all the time...)
3) and lastly my wet dream of being able to in-game import ship designs with a gui that can browse directories. (or even an online database)

I have the techs and I have the space. When I go to look for a certain type of ship and it is not there, I rebuild it imediately. Meaning it should show up. Some of my old models do show up on time.
