Titlebar options not working.

Specifically Stay on Top

Hi all,

My Titlebar settings are not working as configured and I'm hoping you can help.

I goto User Overides -> Advanced Settings -> Titlebar options.

I set the Double click action to "Set Always On Top" and the Right Click action to "Rollup/down Window".

The right click action always works, but, for some reason, double clicking the title bar *still* maximizes a window.

I think I'm using the latest version. I always download it via stardock manually instead of via stardock central. Any ideas?

Below is the sys info from my wmconfig:

your files are mixed, so it will not work properly

uninstall, reboot, reinstall using Stardock Central.

post new system info

Thanks for the reply. I fired up SD Central, and there was an update

However, it didnt help

Here are my DLL's, they seem a bit more consistent.

Wblind.dll 2006/10/09 11:24:20
Wblind64.dll 2006/10/09 12:51:37
Wbsrv.dll 2006/10/09 11:40:18
Wbconfig.exe 2006/10/10 17:39:13
Wbload.exe 2006/03/13 17:54:14
Wbhelp.dll 2004/09/18 16:37:07
Wbui.dll 2005/12/06 22:29:06
Tray.dll 2006/04/28 19:27:49

Could you do me a favour? Give it a try yourself and see if it works for you... If it does, then it's definately my install, if it doesnt, it could be a bug, 'eh?

P.S - I'm using Acryllic as my skin, if that'll help any.

I just tried it...using Acrylic skin also, and "Always on Top" maximizes the window like yours. "Send to Tray" didn't work either, but "Close Window" worked. I didn't try any other options.

this:
Tray.dll 2006/04/28 19:27:49

is for the trial version.

@Boss0910 - It's probably a bug then.

@Bichur - Well... I did a full update on my WB from SD Central and those are DLL's I have now. In fact, I've never used the trial version, ever. I bought WB5 the first day it was released last year.

@Boss0910...

Just tested again, Set Always On Top, Send To Tray, and Show System Menu don't work, the rest do. The window maximizes in a... strange... way when Send To Tray is selected. Almost as if it's trying to send it to tray, but them gives up and defaults to maximizing.

I really hope SD can fix this

Yeah, that's exactly what happened to me with the "Send to Tray" option.

Go to https://www.stardock.helpserve.com/ and post your problem there. Please include the WB config.

This will feed directly into the ticketing system and you will be sure to get some response from Stardock.

Good luck
