Humorous events slider: Shift mood of game from more campy fun to more melodramatic seriousness.
Text spoken option for all dialog boxes. Perhaps with advisors speaking through one Microsoft Agent voice (MA is free), and all others in an alternative voice of a differant sex, maybe a switch so we could set in the game or sound options, which voice we want to listen to for what kinds of messages. Robotic voices are easy to do too.
Like many I read a lot in my work. So I use a clipboard reading utility to read many things including the Galactic Encyclopedia yesterday. Just copy the text and CoolSpeach automaticaly reads it to me. There is a free trial version you can download right now. I have owned and used it for well over a couple years. The full version is $30 bucks US. It does a lot of things if you want it to. And you don't have to have any stupid, excuse me silly, avator hoping around the screen. I have it read at 176 speed. Sometimes faster sometimes slower. Here is the link.

Even a simple button on dialogs would be nice that would simply copy the dialog to the clipboard, that is all it would probably take. Merlin, thats the voice I like, tells me the time each hour, as I have asked it to do, whether or not I am playing a game, watching a DVD, or what ever. I can always turn him off of course. If I wanted it to, it would auto read emails etc. I would be glad to be a tester for such a feature.
This would also be very helpful for the visually impared. Often people are not totally blind. Some use very large monitors to view letters and websites in general, this becomes tiresome on their eyes easily, or have, double or even quadruple vision making reading a lot very difficult. This has happened to me numorous times. I sometimes have to wear an eye patch over one eye and still see multiple images from the good eye. And in a support group I have met several others that like to game but felt left out by the deeper text based titles. Even though that is all the PC gaming they could of easily enjoyed.
The market is not tiny either for these people are a lot more common than you might think. Here in the Tacoma WA area like some other large metropolitan areas there are more public services for the disabled, so they tend to move to these hot spots for life. In the sticks of some parts of the US or abroad you may rarely see a few blind people in a month. But around here its very common. Some apartment buildings house as many as 7 or so individuals, so they have support and can share rides. I even know of a married couple. She is blind, he is severly visually impared. I sometimes do some community service. If this program became handicaped friendly I would be glas to pass the information on to locations around the world. Places like TACID Tacoma Area Coallition fir Individuals with Disabilities, networks with many national and even international information networks.
